I’ve been at Publicis Sapient for 5 years, beginning my career here as a Consultant within our Customer Experience and Innovation team. As a member of that team, I learned from intelligent, passionate, and driven people. Those who know me, know I love giving back and when the opportunity arose where I could permanently give back through a role on the Early Careers team, I jumped at the chance. I’ve now been the UK Early Careers Lead for almost a year and I absolutely love it! It is fulfilling to help shape the experience of our grads, interns, and apprentices.
Did I mention we are hiring for 2021 grads?
Mental health is also a topic very close to my heart - I’ve seen how it can affect people in both my personal and professional life. Unfortunately, there’s still a stigma around mental health and mental illness, so a big part of what I want to do is destigmatise it and create an environment and culture where people feel safe and supported when it comes to their mental wellbeing.
I’m proud that Publicis Sapient invests in the wellbeing of employees and am actively involved in our recently launched Business Resource Group called Headline, whose mission is to focus on mental health and wellness.
Publicis Sapient provides many resources to support mental health, but a lot of the work we do within Headline is around awareness, destigmatisation, and equipping our colleagues with the skills and tools to take control of their own mental health & wellbeing. While mental health is always important, everyone is struggling that extra bit due to COVID, so we need to help and support each other as much as we can.
Headline helps to organise activities for our employees and has arranged dedicated, trained mental health ambassadors available to all employees. From yoga sessions to nutrition talks and even laughing workshops; we try to be as varied, informative, and fun as possible. Last year, we even transformed our beautiful downstairs coffee space into a Blue Monday Interactive Stories Exhibition.
