QE Automation Lead

About the Role: 

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and UI testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and efficient testing processes that align with business objectives.

What you will bring:

• Experience in building automation frameworks to fast-track test outcomes across the delivery lifecycle
• Deep understanding of quality and observability practices across the testing domain
• Experience building AI agents to design test scenarios, run test automation, generate required documentation, and triage defects where applicable
• Ability to extend agent-driven automation to emerging quality engineering use-cases as the practice matures
• Track record of embedding quality metrics and reporting into the project cadence
• Proficiency with modern test automation tooling and CI/CD integration (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, API and performance testing)
• Familiarity with AI and LLM-driven testing approaches, including prompt design for test generation and analysis
• Strong defect triaging, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams to drive resolution
• Experience defining quality metrics, coverage, and observability dashboards to support stakeholder reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as Senior Quality Engineer on complex integration-heavy projects
• Proven track record defining and executing test strategies and plans under tight timelines
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, SIT, UAT support, and automation testing
• Background in enterprise environments, preferably AWS stack
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to “hit the ground running” with minimal ramp-up and work autonomously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
