When I left my job in 2012 after having my second baby, I was mentally prepared that I may never be joining the workforce again. It leaves me amused today, as I am not just back to work after 6 long years but I manage a remote team of 40+ people in SRE and DevOps. I am a proud multitasker who is acing the role of a PM, PMO, and Scrum Master while supporting my global team and clients daily.

Spring, the Publicis Sapient women returnee program launched right when I was contemplating looking for opportunities during my break. From there, the second inning of my career started in full swing.

“My transition back to work was quite smooth despite the long break, thanks to this wonderful initiative by Publicis Sapient.”

My transition back to work was quite smooth despite the long break, thanks to this wonderful initiative by Publicis Sapient. My supportive team helped me ramp up and gave me an open platform to ask even the simplest question. In addition, my mentor and the entire program helped me upgrade my skills and gain back my confidence.

I was fortunate enough to be chosen for this program and I feel proud that I have proven myself in my field once again. I’ve seen recognition for my work at both the client and organization level within my first few months back. What I loved most was the sensitivity and how accepting Publicis Sapient was towards my journey. Right from my first interview through to offer, I felt that they believed in my potential.

The Spring program has brought back the spring in my life. It has brought back the spring in my steps, and with the backing of such a wonderful team, I can only spring forward in leaps and bounds.
