Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer with strong Python development skills and hands-on experience building and supporting ETL pipelines. This role focuses on developing production-grade data solutions, working across systems to ensure reliable data processing, and collaborating directly with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable implementations.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

5–8 years of experience in software engineering and data engineering roles
Strong hands-on Python development experience (data-focused applications)
Proven experience designing and supporting ETL processes and data pipelines
Solid SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimization
Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and data quality validation
Experience troubleshooting data issues across multiple systems and environments
Ability to work independently and deliver solutions with minimal supervision

Set Yourself Apart With

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory)
Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter or SSIS
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and enterprise data architecture
Experience working with large-scale or distributed data systems
Exposure to CI/CD, version control, and data pipeline automation practices
Familiarity with production support processes, monitoring, and scheduling
