Consultant & Senior Consultant – Strategy
Job Description
You will contribute to a range of engagements spanning digital and technology strategy, operating model design, business and technology transformation, business case and roadmap development, gaining exposure to diverse industries and complex client environments while continuing to develop your consulting skills.
You will play a key role in shaping and executing technology strategies that drive business transformation. You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges, define strategic roadmaps, and help them leverage technology to achieve their goals. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technology expertise, and strategic thinking to deliver impactful solutions.
We are looking for curious, collaborative professionals with 1 to 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, digital transformation or a related field. If you are enthusiastic about solving problems, learning continuously, and creating impact for clients, we would love to hear from you.
Your Impact
- Take ambiguous and complex problem statements and use direct engagement, research, and business analysis to define the opportunity set and recommend actionable next steps.
- Bring rigour to a client’s decision-making process through cost/benefit analysis, presenting and evaluating solution options, and seeking consensus among key team members and stakeholders.
- Define, scope and plan innovative solutions for clients. This includes determining how to measure business results, modelling current/future business and technology capabilities, and identifying the organisational, cultural, and operational changes required to successfully unlock value.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical recommendations.
- Build your consulting capability, industry expertise and commercial acumen through direct client work and continuous learning.
Your Experience
1–4 years of experience in strategy and transformation, digital strategy, customer strategy and experience, and/or management consulting, with prior experience working in a consulting or strategy practice.
Understanding of how digital, AI and emerging technologies can help organisations meet evolving customer expectations, improve business performance and support operating model transformation.
Ability to manage project workstreams while effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex information, identify root causes and develop practical recommendations.
Experience supporting client interviews, workshops and facilitation sessions to deliver consulting insights and business outcomes
Ability to take ownership of deliverables, contribute effectively within multidisciplinary teams and support the development of junior team members.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently.
Collaborative mindset and proven ability to work across diverse teams, clients and stakeholders.
Highly resilient in unpredictable circumstances, cool under pressure, and able to think on their feet.
Brings curiosity, authenticity, and a positive outlook, with the ability to contribute actively, collaborate effectively and balance thoughtful listening with confident participation.
Australian citizenship with Baseline Security Clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain clearance, is preferred
