Job Description

As a Business Analyst / Product Owner, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and successfully delivered. You will play a critical role in shaping product direction, driving Agile delivery, and enabling high-quality solutions within complex environments—particularly in Front Office and trading-related domains.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable deliverables, support decision-making, and ensure alignment between strategic goals and technical execution.

 

Responsibilities

 

Product & Requirements Management

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to define product vision and roadmap
  • Translate business needs into clear Product Features and User Stories
  • Prioritize backlog items in alignment with business and technical goals

Agile Delivery

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, reviews)
  • Provide clarification on requirements and support backlog grooming during sprints
  • Adapt to the agreed ways of working and delivery model specific to the project

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and delivery priorities
  • Support internal coordination to ensure end-to-end coverage and story readiness

Technical Awareness

  • Demonstrate understanding of front-end, back-end, and API layers
  • Identify system dependencies and support teams with clear requirements
  • Participate in technical discussions to ensure feasibility and completeness

Tools & Documentation

  • Maintain documentation using Confluence
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams and support with process diagrams (e.g., Draw.io)
  • Manage and track backlog using Azure DevOps (or similar tools)

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Agile/SAFe environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Good understanding of system architecture (front-end, back-end, APIs)
  • Experience with tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps, Draw.io
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing client and project needs

Mandatory:

  • Experience gathering requirements from Front Office and operations stakeholders

Preferred:

  • Experience with Agile ways of working (Kanban preferred)
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with UX/UI teams
  • Exposure to complex integration projects or microservices-based architectures

  • Proactive, autonomous, and delivery-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and managing competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
