Job Description

The Supply Partner is responsible for staffing a pod* of up to 250-300 people throughout their tenure at Publicis Sapient providing them with great experiences throughout their stay in regards to their utilization, their career and growth aspiration preferences, feedbacks and performances. Staffing Partner proactively offers and nominates the individuals from their Pod across books/account/projects to the right opportunity/role.

*Pod: Group of people in a specific geography and potentially possessing similar skill set.

Staffing partner owns the pod and is responsible to staff them to the right opportunity/role throughout their tenure at Publicis Sapient keeping in mind their individual career aspirations, business requirements and utilization.

 

Your Impact OR Responsibilities:

 

Pod Management

  • Deploys a pod of capacity 250-300 people to the right opportunity/role throughout their tenure at Publicis Sapient keeping in mind the individual career aspirations, business requirements and utilization.
  • Provides nominations and guidance for filling open needs- either directly in the system or in collaboration with the respective Capacity Partners.
  • Maintains the data accuracy and continuity of context (history of roles, feedbacks, performance, etc.), roll off dates, competencies, primary capabilities, resumes, time-cards, Supervisor Assignment, travel readiness (Visa process with GPM) for the Pod.
  • Provides visibility about skills and availability to the business/delivery organization with respect to pod people.
  • Holds meaningful discussions/ difficult conversations with pod people with respect to individual career aspirations, business requirements and utilization.
  • Reaches out to business/delivery/account leadership directly, if additional clarity on roles/skills is needed.
  • Proactively offers and nominates people from the pod to respective Capacity Partners and provides alternatives to improve utilization.
  • Ensures billable utilization meets the target set for the assigned
  • Pod/individual and geography.
  • Actively facilitates the on-boarding of New Hires in their pod
  • Provides input on growth and development options in collaboration with the supervisors, People Strategists, Learning Strategists etc. to ensure continuous development of skills of individuals in the Pod
  • Supports the supervisors and people strategists in the Performance Management process and the related outcomes (feedback processes, assessment, promotion readiness, PIP etc.)
  • Be the point of contact for all individuals in their pod for any concerns and issues regarding utilization, deployment and growth aspirations throughout their association with the pod.
  • Cooperates /supports /escalates to People Strategist on all people issues outside of staffing focus such as Leave of absence, accidents, harassment, etc.
  • Bench Management - Manages individuals on the bench actively by finding opportunities for internal assignments, growth and development conversations, checking motivational issues and potential attrition issues with stakeholders approving Time Cards for bench time.
  • Stakeholder Management - Collaborates with multiple stakeholders across People Strategy, L&D, domain/capability leads, supervisors on feedbacks, people development, performance management, training needs, domain changes, attrition, etc. for people in the Pod.
  • Informs and supports the capacity planning issues and resolutions
  • People Operations and Quality - Analyze and provide early visibility into roll-offs/supply
  • Keep abreast of overall pod strategic and tactical staffing and skill needs by analyzing the ongoing Staffing operation, i.e. utilization, open needs reports etc.
  • Manages the existence and correctness of people data in the systems: roll off dates, competencies, primary capabilities, resumes, Time cards etc.
  • Proactively work on Travel readiness (India) and support VISA processes in collaboration with GPM
  • Keeps the quality check with respect to staffing right people on the right places, based on business, client and individual feedback.
  • Company Contribution - Actively participates in, and assists with, company events such as hiring, training and internal initiatives.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in bench management and staffing.
  • Preferred MBA in HR
  • Strong expertise in excel.
  • Good understanding of bench deployment.
