Your Impact

• Perform content updates, page maintenance, general business assistance across multiple teams
• Following technical guidance and reviews to ensure adherence to best practices
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic front-end editing (HTML/CSS) with some knowledge of JavaScript (JQuery)
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with design skills for adapting or creating content assets
• Optimize and adhere to SEO best practices, web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1)
• Contributing to defined projects, campaigns, or tasks under direct supervision
• Work with front-end and back-end developers and cross-functional teams

Skills & Experience

• Good HTML and CSS skills
• Familiarity with JavaScript (JQuery)
• Understanding of accessibility across devices and browsers
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (ie Wordpress, AEM, etc)
• Strong aesthetic skills and a demonstration of skills in graphic design core principles with respect to typography,
• layout/composition, colour, photography, iconography, etc
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to respond professionally to customer generated inquiries and escalating to appropriate teams
• Collaborative and growth mindset to work with cross-functional teams
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering consistent and maintainable solutions following best team practices
• Ability to manage and adapt to multiple priorities
• Demonstrated ability to independently tackle problems using analytical thinking and creative approaches
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards across all web content
• Ability to troubleshoot simple user errors and meet evolving business requirements
• Identifying areas of improvements
• Documenting processes and relevant information for the team
• Preferred Skills:
• OpenText or AEM CMS experience
• Graphic Design experience or related field in design, digital
• Working with Bootstrap, grid layouts, responsive design
• French language proficiency is considered an asset
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Video editing is considered an asset
• Proactive interest in emerging digital trends and technologies is an asset

A Tip from the Hiring Manager: Expectation for weekly hours for the duration of the contract.

Please expect to work 40-hours per week for the duration of the contract. Any time worked beyond the standard 40-hours per week is considered overtime and would require Supervisor approval.

This role also requires 3/days onsite at client office in Toronto, Halifax or Montreal. 

This is role is a long term contract.
