Job Description

At Publicis Sapient, we help the world’s leading organizations transform through technology, data, and AI. We are looking for a Senior Manager/Director Technology to lead initiatives across large‑scale data platforms and mission‑critical applications.

This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise, client engagement, and delivery leadership. You will lead and rotate across multiple programs for a global Travel & Hospitality enterprise, owning solution design, technical execution, and executive‑level communication while working hands‑on with large‑scale distributed systems.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

Senior‑level background in Software Engineering, with strong hands‑on experience in Java, Scala, and Python.
Deep expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and system‑level design.
Experience working with real‑time data platforms, streaming systems, and event‑driven architectures.
Solid understanding of cloud‑native architectures and hands‑on experience with AWS services.
Proven ability to debug, profile, and troubleshoot complex production systems.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and non‑technical executive stakeholders.

Industry Experience

Prior experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Travel & Hospitality
- Loyalty Programs
- Customer Engagement Platforms
- Retail
Experience working on enterprise‑scale digital platforms serving large customer bases.

Leadership Expectations

Operates with a high degree of autonomy and minimal oversight.
Fully accountable for initiatives from inception through execution and measurable business impact.
Serves as a trusted technical and strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders.
Leads through technical credibility, influence, and delivery ownership.

Set Yourself Apart With

Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar) into engineering or business workflows.
Familiarity with Copilot‑style interfaces and AI‑assisted developer or analyst experiences.
Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and their interaction with data platforms.

Contract modality: This position is open either for a Permanent or a Contractor modality in Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Peru and Argentina.
