Job Description
We are supporting a client in identifying an experienced Agile Program Manager who will play a dual role: driving Agile delivery across complex initiatives while coaching and supporting an existing client‑side Program Manager.
This role is ideal for a seasoned Agile leader with strong Retail industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a consultative mindset. You will operate in a client‑facing environment, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of digital transformation programs while elevating Agile maturity and delivery standards.
Your Impact
- Lead Agile project management efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
- Implement and scale Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS) to improve project execution and delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and PI planning.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define and prioritize backlogs.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Agile metrics and feedback loops.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure Agile maturity and project success.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile best practices, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Work with senior leadership to align Agile transformation strategies with organizational goals.
- Ensure transparency and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of experience in Agile project management, Agile coaching, or Agile transformation.
- Demonstrated experience coaching or mentoring Program Managers, Scrum Masters, or Agile teams.
- Strong expertise in Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, and Disciplined Agile.
- Proven track record managing complex digital transformation initiatives, ideally within Retail or Consumer‑focused organization
- Experience working in client‑facing or consulting environments, navigating multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams to improve delivery efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong understanding of Lean-Agile principles and DevOps practices.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), PMI-ACP, or ICP-ACC are a plus.
