QE Automation Engineer

As a Quality Engineering Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and driving automation testing strategies, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and optimizing testing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in test automation, continuous testing, and quality assurance.

Your Impact

• Lead and manage automation testing efforts, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Develop and implement automation testing frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to define testing strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Drive continuous testing and integration practices to enhance the software development lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate risks in testing processes, ensuring robust test coverage.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of automation testing.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in automation testing, tools, and methodologies.
• Advocate for quality engineering best practices across the organization.

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on automation testing.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based testing solutions.
• Experience with ADMS systems will be a plus
   
• Proven track record defining and executing test strategies and plans under tight timelines
   
• Hands-on experience with manual functional, regression, SIT, UAT support, and performance
  testing
   
• Experience with performance testing tools (ideally JMeter; LoadRunner or similar a plus)
   
• Background in enterprise environments, preferably Microsoft/.NET-centric stacks
   
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
   
• Ability to “hit the ground running” with minimal ramp-up and work largely autonomously
   
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
