Software Engineering Manager

Tremend is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our team of bright thinkers and to be responsible for managing the technical team, including staff allocation, coaching, assessments, risk mitigation, etc. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a blended engineering team comprising Sitecore and front‑end developers, supported by QA testers.
• Provide strong technical and people leadership, ensuring high standards of engineering quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including the Head of E‑commerce, to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Drive continuous delivery and evolution of an existing, high‑traffic production portal.
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, security, and performance for a business‑critical system.

Technology Stack & Architecture

• Front‑end heavy environment using Sitecore, React.js, and .NET.
• Booking functionality integrated directly with Meddbase (not using DTP).
• Integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM for pricing and related data.
• Payments processed via JudoPay.
• Identity and access management supported by ForgeRock.

Delivery Context

• The role operates within an established platform rather than a greenfield project.
• The portal is under continuous delivery and is the primary revenue driver for the business.
• The Engineering Manager is expected to be hands‑on at a technical leadership level (architecture, design, and guidance), while empowering the team rather than acting as an individual contributor.
