Power BI Analytical Engineer

Summary

We are actively looking for an experienced Analytical Engineer with strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and SQL to support end‑to‑end analytics and visualization needs. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building dashboards, self‑service datasets, and working with cross‑functional teams to deliver actionable insights. This role requires fluency in both Thai and English and the ability to work primarily onsite.

The Analytical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and self-service analytical datasets. The role involves extensive work with data modeling, DAX, and SQL to enable high-quality data-driven decision-making. Fluency in Thai and English and onsite presence in Bangkok (Gemopolis Industrial, Prawet) are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and interactive data visualizations
• Build robust data models and write advanced DAX expressions to support analytical needs
• Design SQL queries to extract, transform, and optimize data for reporting
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting assets
• Support the creation of self-service datasets for business users
• Utilize Power Apps and Power Automate where applicable (nice to have)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as an Analytical Engineer, BI Developer, or similar role
• Proficiency in Thai and English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work 5 days per week with 4 days onsite at Gemopolis Industrial, Prawet, Bangkok
