Job Description
Your Impact
- Design, build, and maintain SAP ERP integrations (ECC and/or S/4HANA) across retail landscapes.
- Implement integration patterns using SAP technologies such as OData, BAPI/RFC, and IDocs.
- Work directly with retail business processes, including Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, inventory/stock management, pricing, promotions, and product master data.
- Integrate SAP ERP with external retail systems (e‑commerce, POS, warehouse, logistics providers, third‑party vendors).
- Partner with SAP functional teams (Retail/MM/SD/FI) and ABAP engineers to ensure end‑to‑end solution alignment.
- Analyze, debug, and support ABAP components related to integration flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP‑centric integration issues across DEV/QA/PROD environments with ownership and accountability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members within the integration stream.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
- Practical experience working in retail industry implementations or production support.
- Solid understanding of core retail business processes and SAP ERP functional flows.
- Proven experience implementing integrations using OData services, BAPI/RFC, and IDocs.
- Ability to read, debug, and analyze ABAP code for integration troubleshooting.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale SAP environments, release cycles, and multi-system landscapes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering production-ready solutions.
Set Yourself Apart With
- Experience integrating SAP with Java-based microservices or API‑driven ecosystems.
- Exposure to SAP CAR, SAP Retail, or Omnichannel retail solutions.
- Knowledge of SAP PO/CPI or other middleware platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Retail domain certifications or SAP certification(s).
