Senior EDI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced EDI Engineer with 3–4 years of hands‑on experience to support, develop, and maintain our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise—preferably with OpenText EDI platforms—and excels in integrating enterprise systems through secure, reliable data exchange.

This role is enterprise‑integration focused, not supply‑chain heavy. You will partner with internal product, engineering, finance, and operations teams, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure seamless EDI communication across the organization.

Your Impact

• EDI Development & Support
  • Develop, configure, and support EDI integrations using OpenText EDI solutions (preferred).
  • Build and maintain EDI mappings, transformations, and trading partner configurations.
  • Monitor EDI transactions, ensuring timely processing, acknowledgements, and error resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI data, mapping, and communication issues.
• Integration & Operations
  • Support integrations between EDI platforms and internal enterprise systems (ERP, Billing, Finance, custom applications).
  • Manage EDI communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, HTTP/S.
  • Ensure all EDI processes meet security, compliance, and data‑integrity standards.
  • Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work closely with business analysts, engineering teams, and external partners.
  • Assist with onboarding new trading partners and updating existing integrations.
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for EDI flows, mappings, and operational procedures.

Core EDI Skills (Mandatory)

• 3–4 years of experience as an EDI Engineer, EDI Developer, or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with EDI standards such as:
  • X12
  • EDIFACT
• Experience developing and supporting EDI mappings and transformations.
• Solid understanding of EDI transaction lifecycle, acknowledgements, and error handling.

OpenText & Tooling

• Experience with OpenText EDI platforms (highly preferred).
• Familiarity with EDI monitoring, logging, and reporting tools.
• Experience supporting EDI in production environments.
