Quality Engineer (Javascript/Playwright + K6 + SQL)
Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Engineer (TypeScript/Playwright + K6 + SQL) who thrives in modern, data-driven environments and is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks across UI, APIs, performance, and security.
This role is ideal for someone who understands quality as an engineering discipline — not just test execution — and who enjoys working across microservices architectures, DevOps pipelines, and cloud environments.
You will play a key role in elevating automation maturity, ensuring system stability, and validating data integrity in Snowflake and Cleanroom environments.
Qualifications
Your Skills and Experience
Strong experience in QA Automation and Performance Testing
Solid expertise in Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred)
Hands-on experience in API automation (Postman, RestSharp, Axios or similar)
Proven experience using K6 for performance testing
Experience in security testing
Strong database testing skills with SQL proficiency
Hands-on experience working with Snowflake
Understanding of Cleanroom environments, data privacy and compliance concepts
Experience working in microservices architectures
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and Continuous Testing
Experience integrating automation in CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Clear and effective communication skills
Set Yourself Apart With
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to AI/ML testing strategies
Knowledge of SRE principles
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, DataDog, Grafana, or New Relic
Additional Details
Contract type: Contractor
Duration: 6 months (temporary contract) with high possibility of renewal
Location: Open to candidates based in Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil
