Solutions Architect/Technical Lead (Camunda)

Tremend is looking for Solution Architect / Java Technical Lead with Camunda experience to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. The role combines strong Camunda hands‑on delivery, Java engineering, and client-facing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Camunda solution architecture, standards, and integration patterns
• Lead process discovery, BPMN/DMN modelling, and executable workflow design
• Drive hands‑on implementation using Java, integrations, and best practices
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams and mentor engineers
• Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to shape solutions and outcomes
• Ensure production readiness (quality, scalability, operational concerns)

Qualifications: 

• 10+ years overall software engineering experience
• 3+ end‑to‑end Camunda projects delivered (Camunda 8 preferred; Camunda 7 acceptable)
• Camunda 8 platform experience (Operate, Tasklist, Web Modeler, Connectors)
• Strong experience with BPMN 2.0 (DMN exposure is a plus)
• Strong hands‑on Java experience (e.g., Java/Spring-based services)
• Cloud experience, Azure preferred (AWS acceptable)
• Proven technical leadership and client-facing experience

Nice to Have

• Camunda certifications are valuable (7 or 8)
• Experience defining reusable patterns and governance for scaling adoption
