D365 Technical Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with between 4- 6 years of experience in the Dynamics 365 environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, and related technologies. This role involves extending Dynamics 365 using Power Fx, XRM, JavaScript, plugins, and PCF controls, as well as integrating Dynamics 365 with auxiliary systems. The Technical Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical architectures, ensuring solutions are designed with minimal technical debt through effective use of out-of-the-box capabilities and advanced configurations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Technical Architecture & Design
    • Develop and oversee technical architectures for Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
    • Create detailed technical documentation and artefacts that guide the development and integration processes.
    • Leverage out-of-the-box capabilities and configurations to deliver efficient, low technical debt solutions.
  • Solution Development & Integration
    • Extend Dynamics 365 functionalities using Power Fx, XRM, JavaScript, plugins, and PCF controls.
    • Collaborate with integration teams to seamlessly connect Dynamics 365 with auxiliary systems.
    • Ensure effective utilisation of ISV add-ons (e.g. N52 or similar) and other third-party solutions to enhance functionality.
  • DevOps & Best Practices
    • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and DLP policies to support continuous integration and continuous deployment.
    • Adhere to and promote development best practices within technical teams.
    • Work with DevOps teams to ensure robust and secure release management processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand complex business rules and devise technical solutions.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring technical challenges are addressed promptly.
    • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive project success.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Four to six years of hands-on experience within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Platform (including Power Automate and Power BI), and related technologies.
  • Proven expertise in extending Dynamics 365 using Power Fx, XRM, JavaScript, plugins, and PCF controls.
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with auxiliary systems through collaborative work with integration teams.
  • Sound knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development and DLP policies.
  • Familiarity with ISV add-ons (such as N52 or similar) and a commitment to utilising out-of-the-box configurations for optimal solutions.
