Senior Product Manager - Ecommerce/ CPG

Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager you will be managing client engagements from a business side, and working directly with the clients and/or India teams to shape the vision of the business into a reality. In this role, you will help our clients develop and execute their product strategy working closely with client leadership and Publicis Sapient delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and build credibility as a trusted advisor
• Work with clients and stakeholders to Discover and Define the problem and Co-create solution and value case
• Ability to Conduct Workshops/Elicitation sessions independently. Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Partner with the client to develop the strategy, roadmap and identify key success metrics for the product by leveraging knowledge of the Retail industry, customer preferences and other relevant data points
• Employ knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, backlog grooming etc.)
• Ability to work with cross functional teams (UX, Development, QA, Mktg, DevOps etc.)
• Ability to identify and shape opportunities in collaboration with the business development teams
• Demonstrate entrepreneurial drive and lead/ideate new initiatives within the Retail product management practice
• Contribute to practice building – create POVs, Assets & Offerings
• Mentor a team of internal or client product managers

Qualifications and Experience Guidelines (good to have)

• 8+ years of relevant experience in digital product management / business strategy
• MBA preferably from a Tier-1 B-School
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills working with stakeholders in distributed geographies
• Good understanding of the Retail / CPG industry – Challenges, Trends, Functional areas, etc.
• Business process and systems understanding in one or more functions within Retail - E-Commerce, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Loyalty, Customer Experience, Analytics etc.
• Relevant Product Management and Agile certifications such as SAFe PMPO / CSPO etc.
• Good exposure to working with multidisciplinary agile teams comprising of product, marketing, finance, creative, analytics and engineering folks
