Director of Technology - Health

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Director of Technology to lead top-notch technologists and deliver real business outcomes for our healthcare and life sciences clients. You will create measurable impact by shaping digital health transformation strategies, architecting secure and compliant platforms, and translating complex healthcare needs into transformative technology solutions.

Working at the intersection of technology and healthcare innovation, you’ll help organizations evolve for a more digital, data-driven, and patient-centric future.

• Deep experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on healthcare cloud architectures, data privacy, and compliance
• Proven leadership in delivering FHIR-based APIs, clinical data pipelines, and scalable analytics platforms(e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) in regulated environments
• Hands-on technical experience in Java or Python, and familiarity with tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow for healthcare data integration and transformation
• Background in application development using service-oriented architecture and 12-factor methodology for cloud-native platforms
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, HL7, HITRUST, GDPR)
• Understanding of EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), payer platforms, and patient engagement technologies
• Experience implementing clinical decision support systems, care management workflows, or life sciences R&D platforms
• Ability to translate complex business goals into digital strategies aligned with value-based care or real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives
• Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder engagement skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in consulting in the health space (payer, provider, or pharma)

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) or healthcare technologies (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
• Experience leading large, multi-geo healthcare transformation programs
• Exposure to machine learning in healthcare, including risk modeling, NLP for clinical notes, or computer vision in imaging
• Working knowledge of FDA-regulated software, GxP, or clinical trial platforms
• Willingness to travel

Pay Range: $186,000 - 250,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
