Job Description

As a Salesforce Pre-Sales Leader (Market Shaper) at Publicis Sapient, you will be a key player in shaping the market and driving transformative solutions for clients. You will leverage your exposure to Salesforce technologies to engage with clients, understand their challenges, and craft compelling, high-impact solutions. Your role will be pivotal in fostering trust, credibility, and confidence with clients, positioning Publicis Sapient as a leader in Salesforce professional services.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate with pre-sales experience, preferably within professional services, or someone who has held a senior programmer manager role and is now seeking to transition into a more strategic, client-facing position.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Solution Design

  • Engage with clients to deeply understand their business challenges, industry trends, and technology landscape.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by leveraging exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Sales and Service Clouds, Marketing Cloud, Field Service, Commerce Cloud, and MuleSoft.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Industry Clouds and the integration of hyperscalers such as AWS, Snowflake, Azure, and Google Cloud with Data Cloud via Zero Copy.
  • Plan and facilitate discovery sessions and strategic workshops with business and technology stakeholders to clearly identify value opportunities, use cases, and solution priorities.
  • Collaborate with Publicis Sapient Salesforce Practice experts, Business Development Leaders, Client Partners, Industry Leaders, and domain specialists to design tailored, innovative, and scalable solutions.
  • Manage and orchestrate the end-to-end response to client business needs, coordinating with key experts and leaders to develop the solution, point of view (PoV), presentation, demo, technical responses, and commercials.

Thought Leadership & Market Shaping

  • Stay at the forefront of Salesforce technology advancements and industry trends, bringing thought leadership to clients and the internal team.
  • Actively contribute to Publicis Sapient’s Salesforce Practice by defining best practices and sharing expertise.
  • Influence and shape Salesforce solutions in alignment with broader digital transformation strategies for clients.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Salesforce and Hyperscaler teams, identifying and driving new opportunities.

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Lead pre-sales engagements by capturing business requirements, aligning them with the appropriate Salesforce solutions, and crafting winning strategies.
  • Develop high-level solution designs, estimates, and roadmaps to support client proposals and pitches.
  • Orchestrate solution responses, working closely with Publicis Sapient’s market shaping experts and Salesforce Practice leads.
  • Build strong relationships with Salesforce, Hyperscalers, and industry partners to drive joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead the technical response to formal RFPs, RFTs, and EOIs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with bid teams to develop the commercial aspects of proposals, ensuring they are competitive, viable, innovative and aligned with client objectives.

 

Qualifications

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Exposure to Salesforce technologies, particularly Data Cloud, Agentforce, Sales & Service Clouds, Marketing Cloud, Field Service, Commerce Cloud, and MuleSoft.
  • Familiarity with Industry Clouds and understanding of Data Cloud integration with hyperscalers (AWS, Snowflake, Azure, Google Cloud) via Zero Copy.
  • Experience in pre-sales, professional services, or senior programme management roles.
  • Strong ability to plan and facilitate strategic workshops and discovery sessions to identify value-driven use cases and guide solution development.
  • Strong ability to manage and orchestrate solution development, coordinating internal experts to deliver end-to-end responses.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior executives, shape strategies, and build credibility through thought leadership and business insight.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives through presentations, PoVs, and demos.
  • Highly adept at managing multiple opportunities, prioritising initiatives, and orchestrating solution responses effectively.
  • Experience in responding to formal RFPs, RFTs, and EOIs, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial viability.
  • Passion for innovation, curiosity to explore emerging technologies, and ability to challenge conventional thinking to drive digital business transformation.
