Manager Quality Engineering
As a Manager Quality Engineering, you will lead automation delivery efforts, ensuring high-quality software solutions through strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive automation best practices, enhance testing efficiency, and deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications.
Your Impact
- Lead and manage automation testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Define and implement automation strategies, frameworks, and best practices to improve testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure alignment on automation goals and priorities.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automation scripts and frameworks.
- Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices to enhance automation execution.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of automation efforts.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely resolution of automation-related challenges.
- Mentor and coach automation engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on emerging automation tools, technologies, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Advocate for a data-driven approach to automation, leveraging analytics to optimize testing processes.
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proven experience leading automation testing efforts in an Agile or DevOps environment.
- Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) for test automation.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and test automation best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based testing solutions and microservices architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive automation improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Set Yourself Apart With
- Certifications in automation testing (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar).
- Experience with AI-driven testing and intelligent automation solutions.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
- Background in security testing and compliance automation.
