C/C++ Specialist - Legacy System Modernization Project

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong professional experience working with C and/or C++ codebases, particularly in legacy systems.

• Proven ability to read, understand, and reason about complex existing code, even without original documentation.

• Experience with reverse engineering or analyzing legacy systems for migration, modernization, or refactoring initiatives.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, including how application logic interacts with data layers.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers working in other languages (Java).

• Comfort working alongside AI-assisted development or code analysis tools, with the ability to validate and contextualize their outputs.

• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving skills.

• Experience collaborating in cross-functional, multi-language engineering teams.

Contract modality: This role is Contractor for an initial duration of 6 months with high possibility of extension.
