Salesforce Functional Consultant
As a Salesforce Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the discovery and requirements for complex Salesforce initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technology partners to develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives.
Your Impact
- Take complex client and vendor concepts and present them to various constituencies, as well as serve as a business resource lead on engagements
- Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information
- Support the customer to maximize ROI and meet their goals
- Meet with clients to analyse their individual needs, document needs and work with the project manager to provide estimates on work and determine the project scope
- Highlight changes that will require additional investment from the client
- Report weekly to the project manager with any risks and issues that have been identified or need to be escalated to senior management
- Identify clients work practices and understand the nature of their businesses to properly define needs and customise solutions using the Force.com platform
- Work collaboratively with various technical and business stakeholders to form a fit for purpose solution in the digital channels, leveraging a strong working knowledge of Salesforce
- Connect business requirements, particularly with Business channels, with the functional capabilities of the Salesforce application
- Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice
- Support the Business Owner as necessary
- Maintain an effective client follow-up system to ensure that clients are contacted about project progress, issues, risks, actions, and overall satisfaction
Skills and Experience required:
- 7 + years’ experience analysing and defining Salesforce business solutions, with Salesforce certifications (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud) and commitment to continuous credential growth
- 2+years’ experience in working with Salesforce Omni Studio
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into Salesforce solutions.
- Must be "self-motivated" as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Accountable, maintain performance standards, resolve business issues, be engaged and on task

- Knowledge of AI-driven Salesforce solutions and automation capabilities.
- Strong understanding of customer experience and digital transformation strategies.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior product managers and cross-functional teams.
