Junior Conceptual Designer / Creative Artworker
Job Description
Publicis Sapient is seeking a Junior Conceptual Designer / Creative Artworker to join our growing creative team. This role bridges the gap between design concept and final delivery — ensuring every piece of creative work is executed to the highest standard across both print and digital channels.
You’ll bring hands-on technical expertise, precision, and a strong understanding of production workflows to help deliver beautifully crafted, on-brand assets that shine in any medium.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and refinement of graphic designs for production across print and digital media by making technical corrections to layouts, text, and images. The role requires a strong command of design software, a keen eye for detail, and knowledge of print and web production processes.
Asset refinement and preparation
- Understand and manage workflow and preparation for digital assets, including file optimisation, export settings, and accessibility considerations.
- Take finalised layouts and prepare them for production — ensuring all assets are print- and web-ready.
- Produce mechanical artwork, handle resizing, retouching, and versioning across multiple formats.
- Work confidently in Figma, as well as other digital design tools, to produce and deliver assets for social, web, and other digital placements.
- Support omni-channel creative campaigns — ensuring designs are fit-for-purpose across print, digital, and social channels.
- Support the wider creative team in technical delivery, versioning, and QA to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
Style Consistency
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials by strictly following brand guidelines.
- Manage file organisation, colour correction, bleeds, and pre-press checks for print.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Designers to ensure design integrity and creative intent are maintained through to final delivery.
- Manage and deliver digital assets such as social media graphics, banner placements, and website elements.
Visual Development
- Proficiency in image editing/manipulation (retouching) and technical abilities such as colour correction, grading, and compositing.
- Assist Art Director/Designers in producing visual mock-ups or presentation materials to show how a final design will look.
There will be ample opportunities for you to also contribute more design-based decisions, and be involved in the conceptualisation and creation of visual content for campaigns and digital experiences.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
Required:
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a creative production, design, or artworker role (agency or in-house).
- Proven technical knowledge of both print production and digital asset delivery workflows.
- Strong understanding of file types, formats, resolutions, and export processes for various channels.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical approach to organisation and version control.
Software Proficiency
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Familiarity with digital ad platforms, social media specifications, and responsive design principles.
- Understanding of pre-press production, colour management, and print finishing techniques.
- Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, basic video editing, or HTML5 banner production
Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a creative production, design, or artworker role (agency or in-house).
- Proven technical knowledge of both print production and digital asset delivery workflows.
- Strong understanding of file types, formats, resolutions, and export processes for various channels.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical approach to organisation and version control.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to take direction while working efficiently to deadlines.
- A good eye for layout, typography, and visual balance — able to polish and perfect creative work.
