Manager/Senior Manager (Chemicals)

 

Publicis Sapient (PS), a global leader in Digital Business Transformation (DBT), is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager with a demonstrated track record of results and industry thought leadership in the DACH chemicals industry.

 

Working within the chemicals client service team, the role holder will be aligned to existing clients or future client pursuits to initiate and drive transformation discussions and projects with senior clients. We are looking for new colleagues that are equipped with strong consulting skills and industry thought leadership. They will also harness the depth and breadth of PS’ portfolio across Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering, Data and AI and the extended capabilities through Publicis Groupe to identify new opportunities and innovative ways to digitally transform our clients’ businesses.

 

This role presents a unique opportunity for a Manager/Senior Manager to build upon their consulting skill set and industry leading thought leadership to define go-to-market strategies and accelerate growth for assigned clients. It also provides a planned pathway to director level and the associated industry P&L responsibility.

Your Impact:

  • Foster deeper relationships with senior client below CXO level (beyond the CIO) by embedding yourself within the client and showcasing the measurable value of your consulting skillset, thought leadership and wider industry account references
  • Maximise personal utilisation across clients whilst developing a relationship map within your clients to help identify further opportunities and define a 3–5-year vision and strategy
  • Identify, sell and lead on consulting engagements to transform your client’s business
  • Showcase deep chemicals industry knowledge to derive viable hypotheses on what the future pathways and steps in a client digital business transformation could be
  • Through unrivalled thought leadership, establish relationships at senior client level to shape and drive an overall transformation agenda
  • Over time, own the PS Account Plan and 360-degree relationship with each of the clients you engage with and measured sales and revenue growth
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the PS offerings and the DACH chemicals industry to define relevant and unique GTMs
  • Shape proposals and negotiate agreements focused on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for PS and its clients
  • Manage PS Internal stakeholders and build a dedicated and virtual team of experts to match PS’ offerings to client priorities
  • Manage and ensure delivery expectations and satisfaction by orchestrating relevant delivery stakeholders
  • Advocate for your clients internally and ensure all opportunities are accurately reflected and forecasted in the PS CRM pipeline to provide visibility and cross-sell opportunities with all practices, capabilities, and alliance partner teams
  • Cross-sell across PS’ horizontals, services, solutions, and capabilities
  • Drive and lead stewardship in several clients, acting as their PS leader and ensuring profitable YoY Growth

 

Qualifications

  • Chemicals subject matter expertise gained within professional services where your consulting skillset and industry thought leadership has supported revenue growth. This is likely to have been gained in a strategy manager or engagement manager remit within a global management consultancy with a track record in digital transformation
  • Ability to develop and nurture trusted Partner-level relationships with senior client contacts and internal stakeholders via a strong industry POV and understanding of client needs
  • Experience in growing revenues across accounts through the ability to continuously identify opportunities for further business transformation and showcasing the significant value it can deliver
  • A passion for people, leadership, equality, and society
  • Strong global leadership capability to galvanise and oversee the necessary consulting and delivery teams to deliver meaningful change across clients  
  • Strong learning mindset and drive for continuous evolution and self-improvement, including cultivating learning agility, development of personal adaptability, and pursuit of excellence
  • Flexible and mobile, able to work in a hybrid WFH, office, and travel environment as the role necessitates
  • Proficient English language skills, both written and verbal. German is highly desirable
