Senior Associate L2 Golang Engineer

As a Senior Golang Developer, you will design, build, and maintain applications leveraging Golang and HTMX to deliver scalable, performant, and interactive solutions. This role combines backend expertise in Go with front-end experience using HTMX to create dynamic, server-driven UIs that align with modern architectural best practices. You’ll collaborate with designers, product owners, and engineering peers to ensure high-quality delivery and smooth user experiences.

Your Impact

• API Development: Implement REST and GraphQL APIs (queries, mutations, resolvers) using Go.
• Database Integration: Design schemas and write efficient queries in MongoDB.
• UI Development: Build dynamic, server-rendered pages and components using HTMX, leveraging partial-page updates for smooth interactivity with minimal JavaScript.
• Front-End Collaboration: Work with designers to deliver responsive, accessible UIs, styled with Tailwind CSS and enhanced with Alpine.js.
• Testing & Quality: Write unit and integration tests for Go services and GraphQL resolvers, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
• Code Practices: Participate in code reviews, follow best practices, and suggest improvements.
• Operations & Support: Monitor and debug issues in both development and production environments.
• Templating: Use Templ for type-safe templating in Go applications.

Set Yourself Apart With

• Experience building microproduct UIs or server-driven user interfaces at scale.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience optimizing Go applications for latency and throughput.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and modern observability practices.
• Strong collaboration skills and interest in contributing to UI/UX discussions.

This position is only available for candidates based in Costa Rica, Mexico and Colombia as Full Time and anywhere in LATAM as Contractor.
