Senior Director Agile Program Management

As a Senior Director Agile Program Management, you will be responsible for leading and scaling Agile practices across large, complex programs. You will drive Agile transformation, optimize program delivery, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, program governance, and stakeholder management will be critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Your Impact

  • Lead Agile transformation efforts at the program and enterprise level, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Establish and drive Agile governance, frameworks, and best practices to enhance program execution.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale Agile programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, product teams, and engineering to optimize Agile delivery models.
  • Implement Agile metrics and reporting to track program health, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach Agile teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to enhance Agile maturity.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within Agile teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure Agile methodologies are integrated into business processes and decision-making.

Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in Agile program management, with a strong focus on enterprise Agile transformation.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling Agile programs in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Deep expertise in Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale, and Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of Agile governance, portfolio management, and value stream optimization.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams, leadership, and executives.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to drive change management and Agile adoption at the enterprise level.

Set Yourself Apart With

  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC), or similar Agile certifications.
  • Experience in leading Agile transformations in global, multi-team environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile engineering practices.
  • Background in Lean Portfolio Management and Agile budgeting.
