Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and impactful Director of Corporate Web to lead our India-based web team, as part of our global Corporate Marketing and Communications team. This role is central to delivering our global website transformation and ensuring the continued success of business-as-usual operations. The Director will oversee a high-performing, multidisciplinary team that drives excellence across web development, delivery, product management, web technology, and operations. This role requires strong leadership, deep product and technical expertise, and the ability to operate effectively within a globally distributed team.

The team includes functions spanning front-end and back-end web development, web technology, product management, content authoring, quality assurance, data and analytics implementation, and program delivery. The Director will collaborate closely with counterparts in the United States and United Kingdom to operate as one cohesive global web team.

 

Your Impact:

 

Leadership Across Core Web Functions: - Lead and support a cross-functional team in India across key disciplines including development, technology, product, authoring, quality assurance, analytics, and delivery. Guide a group of approximately 5 to 7 direct reports, within a broader team of 20 to 30 individuals, ensuring the right team structure, clear responsibilities, and preparedness to meet evolving business needs. The reporting model is tiered and includes both full-time employees and staffed resources, requiring a consistent and intentional approach to leadership. Apply individual people success strategies to ensure all team members are supported equitably, fully engaged in their roles, and leveraged according to their strengths and development goals. Implement a comprehensive people success plan that fosters growth, recognition, and accountability across the entire team, regardless of employment type.

 

Web Technology and Development Oversight: - Provide direction and oversight for all front-end and back-end development efforts. Ensure the delivery of scalable, performant, and modern solutions aligned with the overall digital strategy. Partner with dev leads to uphold high technical standards, accelerate innovation, and maintain code quality. Bring an awareness of how emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, can enhance development efficiency and web performance.

 

Product and Agile Delivery Leadership: - Lead product planning and agile execution across all web workstreams, alongside our dedicated Sr. Program Manager and Product Manager. Help steer road mapping, as well as sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery milestones. Ensure strong alignment between business priorities and delivery outcomes. Guide teams in working iteratively and efficiently with a clear focus on measurable results. Demonstrate the ability to lead and adapt across a variety of delivery models, based on the complexity, scope, and velocity of each initiative.

 

Collaboration with Strategy, UX, UI, and Analytics: - Partner closely with the Web Strategy Lead and the user experience, interface design, and analytics teams to deliver thoughtful, data-informed solutions. Ensure user needs, design excellence, and measurement strategies are integrated from the start of each initiative. Support implementation of analytics frameworks to monitor performance and inform optimization, leveraging our data engineers. Foster a culture of product innovation by championing experimentation and encouraging new approaches to solving business and user challenges.

 

Global Coordination and Flexible Scheduling: - Work as part of a globally distributed team, coordinating daily with peers and stakeholders in the United States and United Kingdom. This role requires consistent overlap with other regions, and some evening availability is expected to enable collaboration and unblock delivery. Define a sustainable working schedule that balances flexibility with global responsiveness.

 

Team Leadership and Capacity Planning: - Build and maintain a flexible team model that adapts to shifting priorities and growing demands. Ensure the team is fully equipped with the skills, resources, and structure needed for sustained delivery excellence. Apply a thoughtful leverage model to balance experience, specialization, and resourcing. Champion career development, promote a strong culture of accountability, and invest in the growth of team members across functions.

 

Balanced Focus on BAU and Transformation: - Manage the dual responsibility of overseeing ongoing business-as-usual requests and leading large-scale web transformation initiatives. Maintain clarity across project scope, priorities, and resourcing to ensure progress is made on both day-to-day work and long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

  • At least 12 to 15 years of experience leading complex web teams across development, technology, product, and delivery functions.
  • Subject matter expertise in digital marketing, with a deep understanding of the role of web in a modern B2B marketing ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of modern web development practices across front-end and back-end frameworks and architectures.
  • Proven success in product management and agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with design, strategy, and analytics teams to deliver integrated, user-centered digital solutions.
  • Experience applying web as a strategic marketing platform to drive audience engagement, lead generation, personalization, and brand expression
  • Familiarity with implementing digital analytics and performance measurement frameworks in support of optimization.
  • Ability to lead distributed teams across geographies and manage priorities across multiple time zones.
  • Track record of building high-performing teams, managing team structure and utilization, and enabling long-term success through strong leadership.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Adobe Target, or similar content and marketing technology platforms.
