
Job Description
As a Senior Associate Technology specializing in Java Microservices, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable, high-performance microservices-based solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, cloud-native applications that drive business agility and innovation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and cloud-native development.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of microservices design patterns, API gateways, and service discovery.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize microservices performance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to innovation.
Set yourself apart with:
- Certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud platforms (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, etc.).
- Experience with serverless computing, GraphQL, or reactive programming.
- Knowledge of distributed tracing tools like Jaeger or Zipkin.
- Background in event sourcing, CQRS, or API security best practices.
Additional Information
Pay Range: $95,000 - 130,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
