Job Description

Tremend is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Analyst (or Business Analyst / Product Owner) to join our growing team and contribute to the successful delivery of digital financial services projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in banking, SME customers, lending products, proficiency in tools and systems related to digital lending processes, combined with analytical thinking, solution design capability, and a solid understanding of Agile delivery frameworks. As a trusted consultant, you will support complex engagements focused on digital transformation and operational excellence for retail and commercial banking partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead SME banking product strategy engagement, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and go-to-market planning, if required by the client
  • Perform detailed gap analysis between the client s current capabilities and industry best practices, with quantified impact assessments
  • Perform detailed analysis of existing banking system landscapes, including core banking, loan origination systems, risk platforms, and regulatory reporting tools
  • Design target operating models for lending operations, including organizational design and capability requirements, and optimize end-to-end lending processes from origination through portfolio management and collections
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and key stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate requirements validation workshops and manage requirements change control throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring stakeholder alignment and project scope management
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured, and testable functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Create comprehensive business process models using industry-standard notations (BPMN, UML) for current-state and future-state lending operations
  • Design integration requirements and interface specifications between banking systems, including data mapping and transformation rules.
  • Analyze and document production issues, suggest remediations, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  • Participate in solution design workshops, wireframing sessions, and architectural reviews, ensuring business requirements alignment with technical implementation approaches
  • Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of sprint deliverables. Conduct functional testing and user acceptance test (UAT) support.
  • Assist in preparing RFPs, gap analyses, and evaluations for potential third-party platform acquisitions or partnerships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for product enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Product Analyst / Business Analyst / Product Owner
  • in banking.
  • 3+ years of experience in SMEs commercial banking (product management/lending)
  • Deep expertise in SME lending products, including term loans, asset-based lending, and working capital solutions
  • Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments, with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, or similar.
  • Proficiency in writing user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Strong understanding of API architectures, microservices, and cloud-native banking solutions
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, basic querying, and data validation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels and cultural contexts
  • Fluency in English.
