
Job Description
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of a strategic modernization initiative to migrate a legacy platform to a cloud-based infrastructure. You will join the Digital Factory team responsible for maintaining and evolving the performance, observability, and reliability of the client s digital products. This position is 70% focused on monitoring, debugging, and incident resolution using tools like Dynatrace, and 30% on DevOps activities, such as maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. You ll collaborate with cross-regional teams in Dallas, Europe, and India, ensuring high availability and operational continuity. Candidates must be comfortable working in rotational support shifts and should expect to travel to Costa Rica once per quarter for PI Planning (costs covered by the client).
Your Impact:
- Maintain the reliability and uptime of cloud-native applications during a major digital platform transition
- Lead the implementation of robust monitoring using Dynatrace to detect and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless delivery processes across staging and production environments
- Participate in the rotational on-call support model to ensure 18–19 hours of coverage across global time zones
- Collaborate with global engineering, DevOps, and product teams to troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and improve system resiliency
- Drive continuous improvement of observability, automation, and incident management practices
- Actively contribute to the onboarding and stability of 11+ business units transitioning to the cloud
Your Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering roles
- B2+ English level, both written and spoken, with proven ability to communicate directly with clients and stakeholders in fully English-speaking environments
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and managing containerized applications
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, especially Dynatrace
- Experience maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Comfort working in a rotational support schedule, ensuring overlap with global regions for operational coverage
Set Yourself Apart With:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure and operations
- Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus
- Prior work in large-scale digital transformation or modernization initiatives
- Background in retail, logistics, or omnichannel commerce
- Experience working in hybrid legacy-modern architectures and phased migrations
