Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Associate Data Engineer to be part of our team of top-notch technologists. You will lead and deliver technical solutions for large-scale digital transformation projects. Working with the latest data technologies in the industry, you will be instrumental in helping our clients evolve for a more digital future.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines in enterprise environments using Python for data transformation.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.

  • Proficiency with additional cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) is a plus.

  • Experience with both structured and unstructured data, including columnar (BigQuery, Redshift, Vertica), NoSQL (Cosmos DB, DynamoDB), and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Spark, Glue, Lambda, DataFlow, Spark Streaming).

  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schema design.

  • Comfortable working in code-driven environments and using tools for version control and continuous integration (e.g., Git, Jenkins).

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Background in performance tuning and optimization of data queries and processes.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices in data engineering workflows.
