Job Description

We are looking for a finance professional who will be managing relationships and processes across a variety of cross-functional teams. This individual is a tenacious problem solver, a creative thinker, a fast learner, someone who’s detail-oriented and interested in learning Publicis Sapient’s business. They possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, exciting environment to deliver financial support to client-facing teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about finance, loves spreadsheets, data validation, and problem solving. Producing monthly P&L reports, investigating variances to forecast and analysing profitability at a project and account level. Understanding key financial drivers such as pricing, staffing mix and erosion to support Client Services and Project Management Teams with managing project/client profitability. Supporting month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring revenue is correctly reflected in the accounts. Understanding how different project types and accounting treatments impact revenue and clearly communicating reasons for variances to forecast. Oversight and monitoring of delivery teams’ project trackers and other ad hoc reporting for Project Management Teams to support profitable delivery. Analysing and communicating the impact of changes in staffing mix, staffing hours and pricing on project profitability. Collaborating closely with various internal teams (Capacity, Controllership, Legal, Financial Reporting) to deliver complete and accurate financial results Assisting with quarterly forecasting, using P&L results and profit modelling tools to produce account level forecasts and input to systems. Building and refreshing templates in Excel for forecasting, budgeting, revenue guidance and other reporting as required. Supporting Client Services and Project Management Teams through various operational processes and ensuring adherence Maintaining data integrity within systems and tools used for financial analysis and reporting Organizing and promoting team activities to foster community building Ad hoc analysis, projects, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of professional experience Strong Excel skills. Confident working with large volumes of data and different data sources Outstanding attention to detail is a must with ability to multitask Strong analytical, solution-oriented thinking with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. A love of collaboration as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment General technical competency with an ability to learn and use new systems if required; prior experience with Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, or similar systems is a plus Fluent written and spoken English.
