Job Description

As a Senior Associate, Data Science at Publicis Sapient in the DACH region, you will play a pivotal role in our cutting-edge projects, focusing on customer intelligence, generative AI, language modeling, and personalization. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire data science lifecycle, from ideation to production deployment. In this client-facing role, you will leverage your technical expertise in machine learning and cloud technologies while fostering a consulting mindset to contribute to internal and client-oriented- initiatives.

Your Impact

Contribute to developing and implementing machine learning models, ensuring a high level of technical depth and proficiency in Python
Apply ML engineering skills to enhance the efficiency of deploying models and systems to production, ensuring technical excellence throughout the process
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and challenges, providing data-driven solutions
Contribute to creating value propositions and client proposals, showcasing the tangible business impact of our data science solutions
Innovation and Knowledge Sharing Enthusiastically participate in internal data and AI forums, sharing insights and contributing to the collective knowledge base
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, ensuring our solutions remain innovative.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience

Quantitative educational background, preferably in a field related to data science, e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar fields.
a few years of full-time professional work experience in Data Science roles.
Strong technical proficiency in machine learning, cloud technologies, SQL, and Python.
Experience in collaborative development tools and practices, e.g. peer code reviews and version control (Git).
Proven experience taking multiple data science models/systems into production.
Attention to detail and excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills; ability to simplify complex analyses and make concrete recommendations.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
A demonstrated willingness to learn.
Fluent in German (verbal and written, business environment, complex concepts) and English

Set yourself apart with

ML engineering skills, demonstrating the ability to streamline model deployment and manage complex ML workflows.
Previous consulting experience with a client-focused mindset.
