A day in the life

My job as an Operations Manager in Thailand is both challenging and inspiring. My main responsibility is to establish Publicis Sapient culture and business practices in Thailand. I act as the bridge between Thai operations and our global team to improve existing relationships within the business. I also assist in building the infrastructure to enable PS to operate as its own business entity here in Thailand.

 

My choice to join Publicis Sapient

I was excited about Publicis Sapient’s ability to combine the concept of digital business transformation with the fast pace of a start-up when establishing new markets like the recently opened office in Thailand. This combination provides a unique arena in which I have been able to make an immediate impact supported by an amazing team of people.

Working towards one goal

As with all jobs, there are always two aspects, working hard and the social aspect of building new relationships and friendships. Learning this exciting business from scratch, engaging with new teams, and tackling problems is hard work but I enjoy it immensely. I also value being able to work alongside a brilliant team of people. Forming new friendships and professional relationships has also been extremely impactful on my career thus far at PS.

Business Operations Manager
Sumalai is a Business Operations Manager based in Bangkok. As the first team member in our Thailand office, she works closely with the Operations and People Strategy teams to establish and grow Publicis Sapient Thailand. She enjoys running marathons and walking her dogs.
