Senior Python Engineer

Your Impact

• Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based web APIs, primarily using FastAPI, to support enterprise applications.
• Build and manage application data persistence using SQL Server / Azure SQL.
• Develop and support frontend integrations using React or Angular, collaborating closely with UI engineers.
• Work with Azure Cloud services to deploy, monitor, and operate applications in production environments.
• Participate in application integrations and workflows, including exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF) where applicable.
• Contribute to code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that solve real business problems.

Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python web development, specifically building production APIs using FastAPI (or comparable frameworks such as Flask or Django REST Framework).
• Solid experience working with SQL Server / Azure SQL as an application persistence layer.
• Experience integrating backend services with frontend applications built in React or Angular (full‑stack collaboration level).
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms; Azure is preferred, but strong experience with other clouds (AWS/GCP) is acceptable.
• Basic understanding of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for application‑related integrations and workflows; deep data‑engineering expertise is not required.
• Familiarity with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases at a general awareness level.
• Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed, cross‑functional teams.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, or cloud‑native deployment practices.
