Lead Cloud Architect / Senior Manager Technology

As enterprises accelerate their exit from on-premises data centre — driven by end-of-support timelines, rising infrastructure costs, and the demand for cloud-native agility — Publicis Sapient Cloud team is at the forefront of making those transitions happen. You will own the end-to-end technical strategy and delivery of migration programmes across a range of source environments and workload types, from initial discovery through to post-migration optimization and handover.

Your Impact

• Lead discovery and assessment of on-premises environments — to define migration scope, risk profiles, and target cloud architecture on AWS and Azure.
• Design migration strategies across the full spectrum: rehost, replatform, refactor, and retire — selecting the right approach per workload based on business and technical drivers.
• Own wave planning, runbooks, dependency mapping, and cutover procedures, executing migrations using appropriate migration tooling.
• Define cloud landing zones, hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPN), security baselines, and IAM frameworks that meet client governance and compliance requirements.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact across client infrastructure, security, and application teams — translating complex migration challenges into clear recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.
• Lead pre-sales activities including discovery workshops, scoping, effort estimation, and proposal development.
• Mentor engineers across the Cloud team and contribute to reusable migration playbooks, assessment frameworks, and automation accelerators.

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and DevOps.
• Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale on-premises to cloud migration programmes in a consulting or professional services environment, across the full lifecycle from business case through to operational handover.
• Deep hands-on experience with VMware technologies and AWS and/or Azure migration services, landing zone design, and hybrid networking.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to support migration automation.
• Strong networking fundamentals: DNS, VLANs, BGP, firewall policy migration, and Active Directory/Azure AD cutover in hybrid environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication — equally comfortable leading a technical architecture review as presenting a migration roadmap to a CTO.
