In this role , the Technology Director / Senior Manager has high-level responsibility for understanding, planning, and leading the delivery of all Technology solutions for Publicis Sapient Australia clients. You will also lead our technology practice and offering, connect delivery to commercial value and articulate this to meet our client’s business goals.

You will build world class, multi-disciplinary teams that develop exceptional work that delivers both the client’s business objectives, and meet the needs of the digitally savvy, discerning consumer.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Define, scope and plan new technology solutions for clients. This includes determining how to measure business results, modelling current/future business processes, gathering technical requirements and identifying the organizational changes required to successfully realize the benefits of the solution
• Bring rigor to a client’s decision-making process by performing detailed cost/benefit analysis, presenting and evaluating technical solution options, and driving consensus among key stakeholders
• Establish high, mid and micro level plans for the team. Set technical direction for a local (growing) team of 30 and offshore teams of up to 100
• Work with the client s IT organization (CIO, CDO level) to establish technology strategy at an application level. You are able to translate business strategy into technology outcomes
• Support practice development activities including recruiting, thought leadership & community building

Experience / Skills required:

• 12+ years of broad Engineering experience in a modern environment including front and back-end development, data, architecture and deployment
• Experience leading platform teams of 20+ and running agile software development teams deploying product into market.
• You will have a progressive career that has involved software development, technical architecture and leadership. You are both a leader who can help your team and clients understand what’s possible, but one that still enjoys being on the tools when called for.
• You live and breathe digital and have experience and opinions on emerging digital technology and web architecture. You can speak to the front-end including UX, mobile (native), React/Node/Angular, to API layer, and into core systems and development.
• Experience leading large-scale digital transformation programs, with hands-on expertise in Adobe Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and integrating the Adobe suite with the broader enterprise ecosystem using best-of-breed integration approaches and architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of multiple core technologies including (but not limited to): .NET MVC, Java, HTML5/CSS3/JS, Enterprise Content Management, e-Commerce, Mobile technologies and Enterprise Integrations (middleware, ETL, etc.)
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multi-track global teams.
• Experience on at least one of the major Cloud Providers (Amazon AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud) is required.
• Business development, vendor partnership, and consulting experience including leading and crafting proposal efforts and identifying new sales opportunities in the market
