Director Business Development

As a Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving Google Cloud business growth through strategic partnerships and alliances. You will work closely with Google Cloud and other ecosystem partners to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, expand market reach, and drive revenue growth. Your expertise in cloud solutions and business development will be instrumental in shaping and executing our cloud strategy.

Your Impact

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive Google Cloud adoption and revenue growth.
  • Lead strategic partnerships with Google Cloud and other key technology providers to enhance our cloud offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for Google Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Google Cloud leadership, ensuring alignment on business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership on cloud trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring business development goals are met.

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or cloud consulting, with a focus on Google Cloud.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships in the cloud ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its capabilities, including AI, data analytics, and infrastructure services.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients to develop and implement cloud solutions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration across multiple business units.

Set Yourself Apart With

  • Google Cloud Professional Certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer).
  • Experience working with Google Cloud’s partner ecosystem and driving joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong technical background with experience in cloud architecture and solution design.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $150,000 - $220,000
