Operational Technology (OT) Platform Product Owner - Oil & Gas

Publicis Sapient is looking for an Operational Technology Platform Product Owner for one of our clients in the energy and oil & gas industry, known for operating at a global scale with complex and highly regulated environments. The OT Platform Product Owner plays a critical role in supporting the Operational Technology (OT) Product Line Manager and OT Solution Development by ensuring cost-competitive, reliable, and secure operations of the OT platform. In addition, this role enables digital capabilities and drives the modernization of the environment. Product capabilities managed include Claroty, SteelCloud, GoodSync, SolarWinds, Windows AD, and Snow GRC.

Your Impact:

• Setting strategic direction, prioritization and delivery excellence for the team

• Ensuring team members are delivering against priorities; removes impediments and enables continuous improvement

• Managing the balance of new features & modernization and technical debt elimination through the program backlog

• Defining the vision and roadmap for the lifecycle of the product(s)/service(s) and maximizing the business value delivered

• Partnering with OT Architecture to ensure technical enablers are adequately prioritized and reflected in the backlog

• Coordinating with BU stakeholders and other POs in functional platforms to identify new capabilities

• Partnering with chapter leads to help shape the skills needed to deliver on product capabilities

• Managing the budget and schedule: responsible for managing the budget and plans for OT products in the OT Product Line and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery

• Ensuring a robust process for feedback and performance input

• Following corporate process for regular performance feedback to employees

• Developing and encouraging teamwork, promoting diversity, building collaboration, empowering decision-making, facilitating conflict resolution, and creating a supportive environment by eliminating barriers

• Serving as an escalation point to remove value delivery barriers and support product operations

Your Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in OT security engineering projects
• Knowledgeable in network device management
• Understanding of PCN/OT network infrastructure and environments

• ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert Certification
• Understanding of Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmark for all Windows related technologies
• Understanding of hardening requirements for Industrial Control Systems
• Experience in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum or SAFe) to effectively manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of the unique challenges and regulatory requirements within the oil and gas industry, enabling the development of tailored OT solutions that enhance operational efficiency
