Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a performance engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. Your Impact:

  • Identify bottlenecks via creative tooling and analysis which could lie in the infrastructure, frontend, services, database, integration, device, CDN or massive code base catering across multiple regions
  • This electrifying position in performance engineering landscape will bring system-level performance experience to bear on the problems we have yet to both discover and pursue.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering frameworks of complex enterprise applications
  • Experience in performance testing with CI /CD integration of load tool
  • Delivered at-least single enterprise web applications for end-to-end performance testing & bottleneck identifications.
  • Platform exposure on AEM /SiteCore, ATG/Hybris/WCS/Magneto.Good hands-on experience in tuning Oracle/ MySQL/SAP Hana/MongoDB/db2.
  • Hands-on experience with leading APM tools like Appdynamics/DynaTrace/ NewRelic/Datadog and able to analyze issues using custom dashboards
  • Exposure to analyzing custom dashboards for log aggregation tools like Splunk/ELK/Sumo Logic/Grey Log. Proficient in Thread dump, Heap dump, and CPU Dump analysis through tools. Additionally, connection pool, and DB pool analysis.
  • Hand-on experience with Frontend/client-side performance testing and issue identification using tools like a lighthouse, webpage test, etc.
  • Proficient in load generation tools like Gatling, Jmeter, and Loadrunner
  • Exposure to cloud-based load generation tools like Blazemeter, SOASTA & LoadRunner cloud
  • Knowledge of Work Load Model designing using data provided by production Analytics tools like Google Analytics/Omniture/WebTrends
  • Knowledge of performance testing of Mobile Native app using real devices.
  • Knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, and Docker Containers. Scripting Language exposure in Java Scripts/Perl/ Python/Shell
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, various platforms, tools, and products in the performance engineering space

Set Yourself Apart With:

  • 2+ years of experience in applications development in Core Java Programming
  • Sound knowledge and hands-on experience with Data Structures, Algorithms, Hibernate, Spring, and Spring boot.
  • Good hands-on experience in micro-services development and optimizations
  • Experience in service virtualization and ability to write effective mocks/ stubs
  • Hands-on exposure and deep understanding in at least one of the leading cloud providers GCP/AWS/Azure
